Customer Sales Support Representative

Type: Full-Time 

Compensation: Hourly; Negotiable and based on experience 

The CSSR is responsible for supporting the growth of GCI’s sales department by assisting customers and managing complex printing projects from start-to-finish.

ABOUT THIS ROLE

Role Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers with orders and estimates via phone, live chat, e-mail, and in-person
  • Support the growth and development of the (phone and e-commerce) sales department
  • Understand customers’ printing/ordering needs and communicate best solutions
  • Manage customers’ print orders from start to finish: intake print specs, estimate internal job costs, provide customer quote, review print ready files, prepare order for production, collect payment, and ensure that the job is completed on time.
  • Communicate effectively with all departments, GCI team, and vendors 
  • Meet customer needs by recognizing best practices and working closely with production team

Qualifications:

  • Customer service and or Sales experience (2+ years preferred)
  • A desire to deliver top-notch customer service, exceeding customer expectations
  • Great written and verbal communication skills: both internally and externally 
  • Passionate and enthusiastic about the print, graphics, and sign industry
  • Comprehensive understanding of the steps to coordinate print projects for production
  • Technologically-savvy. You will be working with the e-commerce department and will walk customers through an online shopping experience [training for GCI-specific ordering platform provided]
  • Basic understanding of graphic design
  • Must be a self-starter who is able to research, ask questions, and confidently own and execute internal and client projects
  • Able to learn new software and new technology
